Air NZ rated world’s best airline again

Air New Zealand has scooped the pool yet again in AirlineRatings.com’s annual World’s Best Airline Awards, taking out the top prize ‘Airline of the Year’ for the third time in a row.

In addition to the top prize, the Kiwi national carrier was also voted Best Premium Economy Class and Best Economy Class.

Etihad Airways received the award for Best First Class, while Singapore Airlines took out Best Business Class. Singapore Airlines also received the award for Best Inflight Entertainment.

Qantas received the award for Best Airport Lounges, Best Catering andBest Domestic Class, while Virgin Australia won Best New World Carrier.

Best Long Haul Airline awards were won by: Etihad (Middle East/Africa), Cathay Pacific Airways (Asia/Pacific), Lufthansa (Europe) and Delta Air Lines (The Americas).

AirlineRatings.com rates more than 435 airlines around the globe to determine its award winners.
