Big changes coming to Brisbane

Brisbane, the city affectionately known as Brisvegas, is set to undergo a massive transformation following the approval of a multi billion dollar development for the city’s riverside.

Queens Wharf Brisbane, Echo Entertainment’s winning big to revitalise the city centre, will commence in 2017, is expected to create approx. 8000 jobs and attract an additional 1.4 million tourists annually.

Key features of the development will be an arc-shaped building with a sky deck as its centrepiece, 50 restaurants and bars, new water parks and green spaces, a new South Bank theatre and a new riverside event space for up to 26,000 people.

Echo has posted a fly-through of the new development on their site. Watch it below:

What do you think of the new development?
