Sale: Scoot to Singapore and Beyond For Less

Scoot has got the Australia-Singapore routes locked down. They’re cheap, they’re convenient (hello, Gold Coast Airport), and the service is surprisingly good for a so-called low-cost carrier. One area where Scoot haven’t quite become as well known yet is travel beyond Singapore – and they’re looking to change that with some awesome sales.

A new campaign is offering families great value flights to India starting from $199 one-way including taxes from Perth, via Singapore, for an Economy Fly Fare (bags and food extra). This means the exotic culture and flavours, and the cacophony of sounds of countries such as India are really within reach, and budget.

Besides India, this promotion also includes Athens, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam. Flights to Singapore and then onwards to 20 destinations start from just $109 (ex Perth), $119 (ex Gold Coast), $129 (Ex Sydney) and $149 (ex Melbourne) one-way to Singapore.

Of course, a Singapore stopover either direction is a good way to break up the trip.

If I was travelling right now, I’d be lining up to attend Singapore Art Week – a 12-day celebration held from January 17 – 28. The event features a huge line-up of exhibitions, both classic and modern, including the ‘Art from the Street’ featuring the likes of Banksy. Alas, I’m not travelling there any time soon and am seriously envious of anyone who is.
