MoveMe is a new offering that gives passengers an easy and affordable way to change flights on short notice. Why didn’t someone invent this sooner?
For $12 one way, MoveMe allows Tigerair customers who arrive early or late to the airport the option of transferring to another service on the same route without incurring any additional change fees.
The only downside is the change must be done in person.
That means f you’re running late, you have up until 15 minutes after their original scheduled time of departure to approach the Tigerair check-in counters and be moved to the next available flight free of charge.
Alternatively, if you’re one of those unicorns who arrive early and have purchased MoveMe, you can move to an earlier flight if you wish.
You just need to present at the check-in desk for the earlier flight no sooner than two hours prior to the earlier departure time and no later than 45 minutes before the earlier flight’s departure time.
MoveMe can be purchased for $12 one way during the online booking process, or post booking via ‘Manage My Booking’ until 72 hours prior to departure.
MoveMe is available on Tigerair services between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, provided that sufficient seats are available and the replacement flight is on the same day of travel.
