The Paris Hotel Where Dogs Are Treated Like Royalty

One of Paris’ most glamorous escapes, La Reserve is a chic, former mansion of Pierre Cardin – now transformed into a luxurious forty-room boutique hotel. Think lipstick red doors, rich purple velvet, and impeccable styling. Rooms here start from EUROs 1400 per night.

Though sure to be a hit with those looking to indulge in a little Paris retail therapy, it’s not just the two-legged fashionistas who will be seeking out this exclusive escape in the eighth arrondissement of Paris – four legged influencers are also welcome too.

While I haven’t done a thorough investigation, it’s possibly the most luxurious pet-friendly escape on the planet, and kind of makes me want to borrow a dog just to stay here.

Impeccably-styled pooches can often be found at La Reserve sipping Evian from specially supplied bowls and lounging back on pillows, feasting on dishes such as poisson du jour (fish of the day) and suprême de poulet (supreme chicken) with rise, all delivered by the butler.

Aside from its drool-worthy refinements, the Haussmann-style property evokes the glamour of a bygone era with Belle Époque-style interiors — rich red and purple velvets, damasks, brocades and silks – as well as a small spa and 52-foot heated indoor pool – rare for Paris.
