The Wall of Love (Mur des Je t’aime) is one of Montmartre’s most adored artworks. It’s comprised of 612 individual tiles inscribed with the words ‘I Love You’ 300 times in 250 languages. It’s currently undergoing stabilisation work, as the weight of the tiles is threatening to topple the wall.
When a short walk becomes a long walk and you somehow end up in Montmartre — a charming, artistic neighbourhood once home to the likes of Van Gogh, Picasso and Matisse. This is the way.
Bonjour, Paris! It’s hot, it’s beautiful and we can’t believe we’ve finally made it here. The repairs to Notre Dame are making incredible progress, following the fire in 2019. You can see the rebuilt spire in the third image. #paris #notredamedeparis #repeattraveller #astw #travelstoke
Simple and understated. Ok maybe not. This is Rococo extravagance at its finest — inside the Great Hall at Schloss Nymphenburg (Nymphenburg Palace). The palace is the main attraction, but the sprawling gardens are worth a wander too. Bring snacks — they’re big!
Seeing people cycle through Munich’s old town with surfboards strapped to their bikes feels so out of place, but it all makes sense once you get to the English Garden.
When in Abu Dhabi. I spent a good hour exploring Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque during a layover. Genuinely one of the most extraordinary buildings I’ve ever seen. Marble of all colours. Even the intricate floral inlays in the walls, floor and columns.
The sudden cancellation of Byron Bay Bluesfest sent shockwaves through the local live music community in March. But instead of dwelling on the loss, musicians, venues and audiences rallied together, creating a makeshift music festival that reminded us of the power and resilience of live music.

My three-page spread in @locale_magazine’s Winter issue shines a light on the venues that answered the call, while showcasing the year-round live music culture that continues to define the region. #byronbay #northernriversnsw #livemusic #repeattraveller #astw
“We wanted to elevate everything,” says Christian Iacovella, @berkeleyriverlodge’s new Executive Chef. “The experience, the presentation, the techniques — but still make it feel connected to the landscape.” Based on the amazing food we had during our stay, I’d say: mission accomplished. The Italian degustation inspired by Christian’s family recipes was probably my favorite (the focaccia with tomato olive oil was incredible, and dishes only ramped up from there). WA produce is now prioritized across the whole menu, including the drinks, with native ingredients also featured. #hosted #instatravel #travelgram #instafood #repeattraveller
Sunset barbeque. These two little words are loaded with more than just the promise of flame-grilled deliciousness at @berkeleyriverlodge. There’s also four wheel driving — trundling along the empty beach, stopping to view Indigenous artefacts like spear tips and grinding stones scattered amid the shifting dunes, and enjoying a glass of bubbles and snacks as the sun dips below the horizon. It’s one of the new experiences added this season. #berkeleyriverlodge #thekimberley #westernaustralia #hosted
I consider myself an occasional hiker. I enjoy it whenever I venture out, but you’re more likely to find me taking in the view from the carpark lookout than trekking up a mountain or trudging down into the depths of a valley. There’s no such luxury here — you either hike or miss out. So, I dusted off my proper hiking boots (for probably the first time in a decade) and set out, one carefully placed foot after another. Very glad I did — the unmarked trail to Casuarina Falls was spectacularly beautiful, weaving through spinifex grass and acacia trees, past ripple rocks and shell middens, and culminating in an epic view from the top of the falls. It’s one of the included experiences at @berkeleyriverlodge. Keep an eye out for my feature coming soon at executivetraveller.com #hosted
Dawn from the pool deck at @berkeleyriverlodge. We had a small Anzac service just before this. I’ve attended many dawn services over the years, but never somewhere like this. Tour guide ‘Robbo’ shared history of our brave armed forces and emergency services, and in a moment of perfect timing, the sun burst across the horizon the very second the Last Post began. Speechless. #berkeleyriverlodge #thekimberley #westernaustralia #repeattraveller #hosted
Some fresh photos from my stay at the reimagined @berkeleyriverlodge — in Western Australia’s wild Kimberley. I feel incredibly privileged to not only have visited but to spend time getting to know the people behind it. The strength and resilience they’ve shown to come back as strong as they have after the devastation of Cyclone Fina in November last year is remarkable. There are a many, many more photos to come… #berkeleyriverlodge #westernaustralia #thekimberley #repeattraveller #hosted
